Live Poll FAQ
How to create a simple poll?
Open Slideasy and sign in. Create a presentation, add a live poll slide. Type your question. Add two or three options. Save. That's the whole build.
Simple live polls work better than people think. One question with a small set of answers gets a faster response rate than a long one, because nobody has to read a wall of text on a phone screen while the room waits. A good rule. If you can't say the question out loud in one breath, it's too long for a poll.
Present the slide when you want the answer. Your audience joins with a code in their browser. Nothing to install on their side. Responses land as people tap. The count builds on screen and everyone sees the same thing.
You don't need to prepare this in advance. Plenty of people open a tab mid-session, write the question in under a minute, and put it up while the conversation is still on that topic. Slideasy sits in its own browser tab and doesn't hook into your slide software, so keep it open next to your deck and switch across when you need it.
