Live Poll FAQ

How to do a live poll?

Open Slideasy and create a new presentation. Add a live poll slide from the question types. Type your question, then fill in the answer options. Setup takes about a minute.

Present the slide when you're ready. Your audience joins by scanning a code or typing the link into their phone browser. No app download. No sign-up needed. Responses stay anonymous by default. That is why people answer honestly instead of guessing what you want to hear.

Votes appear on screen as people respond. You can watch the count build in real time and talk about what you're seeing while the audience is still voting. That moment usually does more for engagement than the result itself.

Close the poll once everyone has answered, then move to your next slide. Nothing resets. Your results stay saved in the account, so you can pull them up after the session or share them with the room.

Most people get their first poll running in under two minutes. If you can write a question, you can run a live poll in Slideasy.
